Remarks:
(1) The UV protection factor is the ratio of the average effective UV radiation 1 spread through air to that through textile fabrics.
(2) The definition of the spectral range of UV is not clear and may be changed according to the user. CIE Committee e-2.12) specifies a spectral range of 100-400nm:
UV-A: . 315-400nm.
UV-B: 280 - 315 nm
UV-R:280 - 400 nm
(3) This method can also be used to determine the UV protection coefficient of wetted and / or stretched fabrics. However, wetting and / or stretching
