The cover of engine and the parts of the closed cylinder (including water jacket, steam valve and cooling plate) are the installation base of valve mechanism and the sealing cover of the cylinder. The function of cylinder head is to seal the cylinder, form combustion space with piston, and bear the function of high temperature and high pressure gas. The cylinder head bears the mechanical load caused by the gas force and the tightening of the cylinder bolts. At the same time, it also bears the high heat load due to the contact with the high temperature gas. In order to ensure the good sealing of the cylinder, the cylinder head should be neither damaged nor deformed. Therefore, the cylinder head should have enough strength and rigidity.
