PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
YT909 Free Nails is a one-part gap filling synthetic rubber adhesive. It is a carefully formulated blend of synthetic rubber and resins, inorganic fillers, colouring and preservative compounds borne in a specifically selected blend of organic solvents designed to be compatible with and bond strongly to most common building materials. Liquid Nails is suitable for bonding plywood, particle board, concrete, brick, plasterboard, ceramics, hardwood, softwood, steel, uncoated metals, fibreglass and some plastics.

USES 

Free Nails is suitable for bonding a wide range of common building materials such as:
• Timber, metal, cementitious and plaster sheets to timber or metal studs.  

• Plywood and particleboard flooring sheets to floor joists.
• Metal, timber, and other sheet or plank materials to concrete, plaster, or other rigid 

surfaces.                              

• Most bonding applications where a high strength, gap filling, one component adhesive is required.

Light tan coloured, non slump paste.

Curing Mechanism:

Solvent loss.

Slump resistance:

Good.

Open Time:

Dependent on surfaces and ambient conditions. Up to 10 min when used as “wet stick” method.

Drying time:

Full bond strength reached after 2-4 days.

Chemical resistance:

Resistant to water, dilute acid and alkalis, mould and fungi.
