Compact laminate board is a kind of thermosetting laminated board. It is made by impregnating decorative colored paper with melamine resin and multiple layers of black or brown kraft paper with phenolic resin, and then subjecting them to high temperature and high pressure. Its manufacturing process is complex, and each layer of paper is closely bonded under high temperature and high pressure to form a board with special properties.

Characteristics

1. Ultra-high Strength: Through special processing, its strength is much higher than that of ordinary boards. It can withstand great pressure and impact force and is not easy to deform or be damaged.
2. Moisture and Water Resistance: The board has a compact structure, making it difficult for water molecules to penetrate. Even when used for a long time in humid environments such as bathrooms, it can remain stable without swelling, deforming, or other problems.
3. Fire Resistance and Flame Retardancy: It has good fire resistance. It does not burn when exposed to an open flame and can effectively prevent the spread of fire. It complies with relevant fire safety standards and can be used in places with high fire protection requirements.
4. Chemical Corrosion Resistance: It has strong resistance to common chemical substances such as acids and alkalis. When used in environments where chemical reagents are easily encountered, such as laboratories and chemical plants, the surface will not be corroded and can remain intact for a long time.
5. Easy to Clean and Maintain: The surface is smooth, and stains are difficult to adhere to it. For daily cleaning, simply wiping with a damp cloth is enough, and the maintenance cost is low.
6. Antibacterial and Mildew-proof: The special manufacturing process makes it difficult for bacteria and mildew to grow on its surface. It can be applied to places with high hygiene requirements, such as hospitals and food processing workshops.

Parameters

1. Thickness: Common thicknesses include 1.6mm, 3mm, 5mm, 6mm, 8mm, 10mm, 12mm, etc. Among them, 1.6mm - 3mm is often used for veneer boards, and a thickness of 5mm and above is mostly used for making independent structural parts or countertops.
2. Density: The density is usually between 1.4 - 1.5g/cm³. The high density is an important guarantee for its high strength.
3. Fire Rating: Generally, it reaches the B1 level of flame retardancy. Some products can even reach a higher fire rating, such as A2 level non-combustibility, which can meet the fire protection requirements of different places.
4. Water Absorption Rate: After a 24-hour immersion test, the water absorption rate is usually less than 1%, demonstrating excellent moisture resistance.
