Melamine board, scientifically known as melamine-impregnated paper veneered wood-based panel, is also called double-sided panel or paint-free panel. It uses particleboard, medium-density fiberboard (MDF), etc. as the base material. The paper with rich colors or exquisite textures is fully immersed in melamine resin adhesive. After drying to an appropriate degree of curing, it is laid on the surface of the base material and tightly bonded into shape through a hot pressing process.

1. Strong Decorativeness: The paper, after being printed, can present realistic wood grain, stone grain, fabric pattern, or various solid colors, and can meet the requirements of different decoration styles.
2. Abrasion and Scratch Resistance: The surface formed by melamine resin has high hardness and is not prone to scratches and abrasions during daily use.
3. Corrosion Resistance: It has good resistance to common acids, alkalis, oils, alcohol, etc., and can keep the surface intact without being eroded.
4. Excellent Moisture Resistance: It can resist the intrusion of moisture to a certain extent and reduce the deformation problem caused by moisture.
5. Environmental Protection Compliance: Most melamine boards meet national environmental protection standards, with a low formaldehyde emission, ensuring a healthy indoor environment.
6. Easy to Clean: The surface is smooth and flat, and stains are not easy to adhere. It can be cleaned simply by wiping with a damp cloth.

1. Thickness: Common specifications include 3mm, 5mm, 9mm, 12mm, 15mm, 18mm, etc. The 18mm thickness is often used for making furniture cabinets.
2. Density: When the base material is particleboard, the density is mostly between 0.65 - 0.85g/cm³; for MDF base material, the density is generally between 0.75 - 0.95g/cm³.
3. Formaldehyde Emission: According to national standards, Class E1 ≤ 1.5mg/L, Class E0 ≤ 0.5mg/L. Nowadays, some enterprises can even meet the ENF standard of ≤ 0.124mg/m³.
