Product Introduction

D-20 special bactericide for reverse osmosis is a liquid bactericide containing the effective component DBNPA (2.2-dibromo-3-cyanopropanamide). DBNPA molecule can quickly penetrate the microbial cell membrane, then acts on certain protein groups and terminates the normal oxidation-reduction of cells. Its branches can also selectively brominate or oxidize the special enzyme metabolites of microorganisms, eventually leading to cell death to antibacterial, anti-corrosion purposes. D 20 is a reliable membrane bactericide, which can effectively inhibit or peel off the microbial pollution caused by microorganisms through continuous on-line dosing or phased dosing.

Product use

D-20 is a reliable membrane bactericide and is applied to control the formation of microorganisms in various RO systems and reduce biological slime. The active ingredient in D 20 has been proved to be effective in killing bacteria, fungi, yeasts, algae (Cyanobacteria) and other algae at low concentrations. Its molecules can quickly act on raw water used in RO system. This action is not limited by pH, and it can effectively control microbial resistance problems at appropriate doses.

Application method

Intermittent dosing:

For the system with less serious biological pollution, add DBNPA 20 once a week for 2 hours with a concentration of 100ppm. If the total number of influent colonies is more than 100cfu/ml or biofilm is definitely formed in the reverse osmosis system, it is recommended to add 100ppm for 3 hours.

Continuous dosing:

When it is expected that no obvious biofilm will appear in the system, the operation scheme of continuous dosing can be adopted. The recommended dosing concentration is 3 ~ 7.5ppm (the actual dose should be adjusted according to the normal wave action of the bacterial content).

Effect of reducing agent on DBNPA 20:

Since the reducing agent (such as sodium bisulfite used to remove free chlorine) will make DBNPA ineffective, the influent with residual reducing agent should be added with a higher concentration of DBNPA 20. For every 1ppm of residual reducing agent in the reverse osmosis influent, the concentration of active component DBNPA 20 should be increased by 1ppm.

Package and storage

Packed in 25kg, 200kg or 1000kg IBC polypropylene plastic drums; protected from sun and rain during transportation; stored in a ventilated and dry place below 40℃; avoid freezing, heating or direct sunlight. The product has a shelf life of 12 months under the required storage conditions.
