Overview

KC-318 Non-Invasive Inductive Moisture Meter main by the sensor ,at the back of the tool, emits and picks up electro-magnetic signals through the material to be tested.

The reading displayed is an average value of the moisture content from the entire surface area and the maximum depth of penetration. Moisture which is closer to the surface has a greater effect on the average value than the moisture close to the maximum depth of penetration.

KC-318 has internal auto-calibration function, therefore no need for manually calibration.

If the target depth is smaller than Max. measuring range 20mm, the value shows on the LCD is not accurate. The Max measuring depth for this unit is 3/4 inch (20mm)
