According to animal research at home and abroad, the normal pH value of cat urine is 6.0-6.8. Urine with a high pH value is conducive to the formation of magnesium crystals, while acidified urine can dissolve magnesium crystals. Many high-quality cat foods have special formulas to maintain the acidic environment of urine and reduce the formation of magnesium crystals. However, the disadvantage of this diet is that acidic urine is conducive to the formation of calcium crystals. Since calcium crystals cannot be dissolved by changing the pH value, it often brings more drawbacks. Therefore, the health status of cats can be predicted by testing the pH value of cat urine. Currently, many cat litter is ordinary cat litter with few additional functions. Therefore, we studied pH tofu cat litter to help owners detect changes in the cat's physical health status earlier.
