A semi-automatic gas cutting machine is a type of gas cutting equipment that uses a mechanical transmission mechanism to achieve automatic linear or circular cutting, while requiring manual assistance to adjust cutting parameters (such as cutting nozzle position and cutting speed). Its core is used for efficient and accurate cutting or groove processing of metal materials such as steel plates and sections.
Core components
-Host body: It is mostly a lightweight frame structure, equipped with walking wheels (linear cutting) or turntable (circular cutting) to ensure stable movement during cutting.
-Gas system: including pressure reducing valves, flow meters, gas pipes, and cutting torches for oxygen, acetylene (or propane), responsible for stable transportation of gas and combustion supporting gases, and controlling flame intensity.
-Transmission and speed control device: The walking speed is usually adjusted by a motor or manual knob (usually adjustable from 0-1500mm/min) to ensure uniform cutting speed and avoid problems such as skewed cuts and excessive slag.
-Torch clamping mechanism: The height and angle of the cutting nozzle can be adjusted up and down, left and right, and adapted to different thicknesses of metal materials (generally capable of cutting 6-200mm thick steel plates), meeting the needs of straight cutting, bevel cutting, etc.
working principle
1. Manually connect and check the gas path, select the appropriate cutting nozzle model based on the material thickness, and adjust the oxygen and gas pressure to the specified values.
2. Ignite the cutting torch, adjust the flame to a neutral flame, and preheat the metal material to the ignition point (about 800-1000 ℃)
