Health and safety
Strong Irritation effects, Very high exposures may causehemolytic anemia, liver and kidney damage.
Acute poisoning: Inhalation ofdust or vapors may cause irritation to skin, eyes and respiratory tract, andcause corneal opacity, headache, nausea, vomiting, poor appetite, lumbago andproteinuria. Severe cases may cause liver damage and toxic encephalopathy.Ingestion toxic predominant reaction is delayed intravascular hemolysis andkidney or liver damage, even may cause renal failure and acute Liver Necrosis.
Chronic poisoning: Frequently expose to dust or vapors may cause headache, nausea, vomiting, blood system damage and may lead to cataract formation in eyes. Canirritate the skin and, may cause rashes and allergy.
(1) Once splashed into eyes, lifting eyelid, washimmediately with plenty of water or physiological saline and seek medicaltreatment.
(2)Once splashed into skin, Remove contaminated clothing, wash skin thoroughly with suds or plenty of water and seek medicaltreatment immediately.
(3)Inhalation.Remove to fresh air. If not breathing, giveartificial respiration. If breathing was difficult, give oxygen, and seekmedical treatment immediately.

(5) No littering. Caution should be taken to protectenvironment.
FireFighting Measures
Once meets fire or high fever to be inflammable. Fire mayproduce irritating or poisonous gases. Contact with strong oxidizers such asanhydride chromate, chlorate or potassium permanganate will bring intensivereaction lead to explosion or burning. Dust blend into air may form explosionmixture, and may explosive within flammable limits.
Using Carbon dioxide, water spray and sand for fireextinguish. Foam or direct water on molten naphthalene may cause extensivefire.
AccidentalRelease Measures
Isolate the contaminated area, Remove all sources offlame. Strongly recommend that an air-supplied respirator should be worn andput on ordinary dungaree. Don’t directly contact with leakage.
A small amount of leakage: Clean up leakage with non-sparking tool and equipment in a manner thatdoes not disperse the dust into air. Reduce airborne dust and preventscattering by moistening with water. Pick up spill for recovery or disposal andplace in a closed container.
A large number of leakages: Covered the leakage with canvas or plastic sheeting and reduceddispersion. Collected or recovered with non sparking tool and equipment, orTransported to the dump and carried out harmless treatment.
