From the supplier
In the field of modern communications, different communication frequency bands have their own characteristics, and the applicable application scenarios are also completely different. This makes it difficult for a single test instrument to meet the needs of all frequency bands during the test process, so a frequency converter is needed to achieve flexible frequency conversion. Simai Measurement and Control has launched a series of PXI frequency converter products to flexibly respond to diverse application scenarios and achieve efficient and convenient frequency conversion.
▍Product features:
1. 43GHz Inverter
The 43GHz broadband frequency converter consists of an upconverter FEU3543 and a downconverter FED3543. It has an ultra-wide frequency coverage of 9kHz-43GHz, covering al* all mainstream radio frequency application bands. It can not only be perfectly adapted to the SGR RF broadband transceiver developed by SEMID, but also work in conjunction with third-party PXI RF transceiver instruments.
● Technical indicators:
2. 6GHz frequency converter
The 6GHz frequency converter includes a FEU3506 upconverter and a FED3506 downconverter, and is specially designed to meet application scenarios such as radio frequency instrumentation, wireless communications, and software radio. The frequency range of the two modules is DC to 6GHz, the intermediate frequency bandwidth is 80MHz, and the ** can also be expanded to 200MHz.
● Frequency range: 100kHz-6GHz
● Intermediate frequency: 70MHz
● Bandwidth: 80MHz
● Gain: 25±3dB (normal mode);40±3dB (low noise mode)
● Phase noise: -105dBc/Hz@10kH
3. 26.5GHz Inverter
The FED3526 is a 26.5GHz downconverter that can accurately downconvert frequencies from 6GHz to 26.5GHz to 50MHz to 3 GHz. In addition, users can also select external local oscillator signals according to actual needs to meet application scenarios such as SISO and MIMO.
The FED3526 can also be combined with the FED3506 to form a broadband downconverter from 100kHz to 26.5 GHz, meeting system requirements with higher frequency coverage requirements and opening up a broader space for testing work.
● Frequency range: 6GHz-26.5GHz
● Intermediate frequency: 50MHz-3GHz
● Bandwidth: 1.5GHz
● Gain range: -40 40dB (preamplifier gain 20dB)
● Phase noise: -108dBc/Hz@10kHz, 13GHz
