From the supplier
Product Introduction
During the operation of the cooling tower, when pure water evaporates from the cooling tower, the dissolved solids and alkalinity in the water will remain in the water and increase in concentration as it evaporates. pH increases with alkalinity, and as pH and alkalinity increase, carbonates and other scales are more likely to form. At this point, adding acid controls the alkalinity/pH balance and reduces the risk of scaling. Sulfuric acid is the most widely used in water treatment, but the operation difficulty and safety risks of using sulfuric acid for small cooling towers are great. The composition of SD 400 is sodium bisulfate, a stable solid acid ideal for use in small cooling towers.

Method of usage
The dosage of SD 400 depends on the existing alkalinity of the cooling tower, the expected alkalinity after adding acid and the capacity of water. The unit acid dosage of SD 400 is calculated according to the following formula:
A=120*∆M/(50*0.98*1000)
A——(g/L or kg/M3)
Pour the required amount of SD 400 into the sump or tank where the water flows.
Packaging and storage
1.3kg is independently vacuum-cured and plastic-sealed in a polyethylene tube bag, and each 12 bags (15.6kg) is sealed and packaged in a recyclable carton. Store in a ventilated and dry place below 40℃. The product shelf life is 24 months.
