From the supplier
1.Steel bars are solid, long-strip metal products, mostly cylindrical or prismatic in shape, with main materials including carbon steel, alloy steel, or stainless steel. Their diameter usually ranges from a few millimeters to over 500 millimeters, and their length is flexibly adjusted according to application needs—common specifications include fixed lengths (e.g., 6 meters, 12 meters) or custom-cut sizes. Steel bars are manufactured through processes such as hot rolling, cold drawing, or forging, and their mechanical properties can be adjusted on demand: carbon steel bars have high cost-effectiveness and are suitable for general structural scenarios; alloy steel bars have higher strength and hardness, making them ideal for heavy-duty components; stainless steel bars, on the other hand, possess corrosion resistance and can cope with harsh environments.
2. Steel bars are widely used in various industries, serving both as basic raw materials and finished components. In the construction field, they are often used as reinforcing bars (Rebar) to enhance the tensile strength of concrete structures; in the manufacturing field, steel bars can be processed into mechanical parts such as shafts, gears, and bolts—for example, high-precision cold-drawn steel bars are particularly suitable for manufacturing small mechanical components. Thanks to their balanced advantages of strength, ductility, and processability, steel bars are also applied in infrastructure (e.g., bridge supports) and daily necessities (e.g., furniture frames).
