Tylosin Tartrate Powder for Injection
APPEARANCE: This product is light yellow powder.
DESCRIPTION: Tylosin tartrate is a macrolide antibacterial drug, which is against Gram-positive bacteria and some negative bacteria. Sensitive bacteria include Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus pyogenes, Streptococcus pneumoniae, Corynebacterium pyogenes and so on. It is particularly effective against Mycoplasma, and it is one of the drugs with the strongest effect on Mycoplasma among macrolides.
INDICATIONS: This product is mainly used to treat infections caused by mycoplasma and sensitive gram-positive bacteria, such as chronic respiratory disease and infectious coryza in chickens, Porcine mycoplasma pneumonia, mycoplasma arthritis, pneumonia caused by Pasteurella, and dysentery caused by Treponema dysenteriae in pigs.
DOSAGE & ADMINISTRATION: Subcutaneous or intramuscular injection. Poultry and livestock: 5~13mg/1kg B.W.
ADVERSE REACTIONS:
(1) Tylosin can cause veterinary contact dermatitis.
(2) It may have liver toxicity, manifested as cholestasis, and can also cause vomiting and diarrhea, especially when high-dose administration.
(3) It is irritating, intramuscular injection can cause severe pain, and intravenous injection can cause thrombophlebitis and perivenous inflammation.
