General description 

Z(H)LB(Q) is vertical axial flow or mixed flow pump, such kind of pump is produced with latest excellent hydraulic mould, wide range of flow and higher efficiency, steady performance, good cavitation resistance. The impeller is precisely casted with a wax mould, more smooth and unimpeded surface, identical accuracy of the cast dimension to that in design, greatly reduced hydraulic friction loss and shocking loss, better vanes balance, and better efficiency. According to the vane adjustment the pump can be semi-adjustable type and completely adjustable type.If vanes and hub is one cast, it will be fixed type, angle of vanes can not be modified. For semi-adjustable type, if the work condition need modification, loose set screw of the vanes to turn the vane to right degree, then fix the vanes. Z(H)LQ is complete adjustable type, when stop pump or during operation, the angle of vanes can be adjusted by mechanical type or hydraulic regulating mechanism. ZWQ is horizontal complete adjustable type pump. ZXQ is oblique type complete adjustable type pump.According to clients’ requirements, the big pump can also be vertical open type. 

Vertical axial or mixed flow pump is made up of two parts, pump body and transmission part. Pump body normally is including suction bell, impeller, diffuser, pump shaft, elbow and mid-pipe, seal parts, and coupling etc. Small and medium size pump are normally with suction bell. For large pump, a toggle or bell water inlet passage is used, poured with concrete and fitted with imported basic parts. The adjustable impeller is normally made up of blades or vanes, material of vanes normally are stainless steel or copper alloy, hub, hub cap. Small and medium size pump impeller are connected to the pump shaft by flat key or nuts. For large pump and complete adjustable pump, hub is connected with main shaft flange. Guide bearing is rubber bearing, lubricated by water pumped or other clean water. If lubricated by pumped water, upper rubber bearing should be filled with water through water guiding tube before start the pump, stop the water supply till the water flow out as usual. 

Small and medium size pump are directly transmitted by vertical motor. Vertical motor is installed on the motor stool, transmission shaft was connected by flexible coupling. Radial bearing and thrust bearings are installed in the motor frame, lubricated by grease or oil. For motor with bigger power, there is water cooling jacket outside the bearing housing. Big pump with big vertical motor, pump is directly installed on the beam of the motor foundation, motor shaft flange are jointed with pump shaft flange or reamed hole by bolts. Axial thrust force of big pump will be born by big vertical motor thrust bearing. 

Rotation direction of the pump is clockwise viewed from drive end.

For pumping pure water or liquids with physical and chemical properties similar to pure water. These pumps are widely used for water conservancy projects, farm irrigation, industrial water transportation, urban water supply and drainage, and water transferring projects.
