Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) is a synthetic fluoropolymer of tetrafluoroethylene that has
numerous applications. Thermal stability PTFE is one of the most thermally stable plastic
materials. There are no appreciable decompositions at 250°C, so that PTFE, at this
temperature, still possesses most of its properties.
