Potassium Monopersulfate compound is a kind of free flowing white granular powder. It is easy to be dissolved in the water(20'C,256 g/L) and composed of Oxone (KHSO), Potassium Bisulfate(KHSO) and Potassium Sulfate(K2SO4). It has higher oxidation-redaction potential and strong oxidizing ability. So it can be effective
oxidant or disinfectant.
In aquaculture, it can disinfect and purify the water and effectively reduce the heavy metal ion such as Fe2+ , Mn2 +. It can oxidize and decompose the carcinogens such as nitrite, hydrogen sulfide. It can eliminate the pathogens, increase the active oxygen content of the water, improve the living environment of aquatic organism, decrease the incidence of disease, and adjust the water environment.
In other industry, it can be used as circuit board etchant, swimming pool disinfectant, etc.
