From the supplier
Faced with severe environmental pressure, countries around the world have formulated a series of vehicle fuel consumption standards, and light-weight transformation of vehicles based on aluminum alloys is an important way to reduce fuel consumption. Domestic new energy vehicles are growing rapidly, with an annual output of 9.443 million units in 2023. New car sales in 2026 will account for approximately 53% to 55%. The industry predicts that the number of vehicles in 2029 will exceed 80 million units; aluminum is used in large quantities for new energy vehicle battery trays, chassis, collision beams and other components, and there is sufficient room for development. Take passenger cars as an example: All domestic models (Weighted average of fuel + new energy): 195kg /unit of traditional fuel passenger car: 158kg /unit of domestic new energy passenger car: 236kg /unit (1.49 times for fuel vehicles), high-end integrated die-casting models are as high as 270 - 310kg of global average aluminum for single passenger cars: 213kg /unit (IAI) Lightweight route planning, the vehicle has been completed in 2025 compared with 2015. 20% indicator, the average weight loss of the vehicle in 2026 will be 25%. In order to sprint to the goal of 35% weight reduction in 2030, the demand for aluminum for vehicles will continue to increase.
