1. Characteristics
It is metal cored wire with CO2 gas shielding, globular transfer, less spatter and excellent bead appearance. It adopts Cr-Mn-Mo alloy system, the surfacing hardness is uniform and stable and it has the following characteristics:
(1) Only suitable for single pass surfacing of hardbanding, and non-cracking.
(2) The surfacing hardness is generally between HRC57-60.
(3) Deliver both adequate tool joint protection and excellent casing wear protection when drilling.
(4) To be compatible with other flux cored wire for hardbanding of drill pipes, can be directly repaired welding on the surfacing of other brand wire.
(5) Suitable for drill pipe, heavy weight drill pipe, drill collar, centralizer, shock absorbers, and various other downhole tools.
