1. Product Introduction:
The Gunmetal standard swivel ferrule saddles provide a quick, permanent, leak free service connection. Consisting of a flat boss strap, bottom strap and ferrule. With an inner plug for valve isolation and a 360° swivel outlet, the ferrule provides service connections dry, wet or under pressure directly into cast iron, ductile iron and steel mains. Asbestos cement, PE and PVC mains can also be tapped via a flat boss strap.

● Gunmetal: BS1400:LG2 or UNS C83600
● Connect types: Push fit
● Installation Condition: Any trench condition, wet or dry.
● General Application: PE & PVC & AC pipe
- 4. Installation Instruction:
- 1) Fit the top strap on the main, and ensuring the sealing ring is correctly positioned.
2) Locate the bottom strap with bolts and nuts provided. Make sure the straps sit squarely on the main.
3) Connect the service pipe to the banjo.
4) Ensure the cap is tightened down on the banjo and then wind the plug back to seal in the cap.
5) Install the outlet pipe through banjo. The connection is now made.
- 5. Service Condition:
Ferrule strap can provide years of service in any trench condition, wet or dry. Even the most aggressive soil conditions.
- 6. Safety:
It is important to take adequate safety precautions such as the use of protective clothing like gloves, overalls, eye protection and safety footwear during installation.
