Correct installation
Install it on the equipment body at the highest point of the system pressure or prone to overpressure, ensuring that the relief channel is unobstructed and unobstructed.
Install according to the flow direction of the medium. The arrow direction of the valve body should be consistent with the flow direction of the medium. Reverse installation is strictly prohibited.
When installing pipes, keep them as short and straight as possible to minimize elbows and resistance. The outlet pipe of the safety valve must be connected to a safety relief channel (such as a vent pipe or a recovery pipe), and must not directly face the personnel passage.
It is prohibited to install a shut-off valve between the safety valve and the equipment (approval is required in special circumstances, and the shut-off valve must be kept open and sealed with a lead seal) to avoid affecting emergency release.
Flange or threaded connections should be evenly tightened, with intact seals to prevent medium leakage.
Operation and operation specifications
When the system starts up, gradually increase the pressure and observe the status of the safety valve. Only when there are no abnormalities can it be operated normally.
During daily operation, regularly check whether the safety valve has any leakage, rust or abnormal noise, ensure that the valve body is clean and that the adjusting mechanism (such as the adjusting nut) is not loose.
It is strictly prohibited to adjust the set pressure of the safety valve privately, remove the lead seal, or press the cover with heavy objects or block the discharge port.
When the system pressure approaches the set pressure, closely monitor it. If the safety valve trips to release pressure, the cause of the overpressure must be investigated. Do not forcibly close it until the problem is solved.
