Adults take 1.8g daily in divided doses for 14 days. 0.1~0.2g daily for people younger than 1 year old, and 0.2~0.3g for people aged 1-3 years old, divided into 2-3 times.
4~6 years old, 0.3~0.5g, 7~11 years old, 0.5~1g, the course of treatment is 10 days.
Can be used for treating falciparum malaria caused by chloroquine-resistant and multi-drug-resistant strains.
Can also be used for treating vivax malaria.
Taboo: forbidden for pregnant women.
Deficiency: this product is ineffective in infrared phase, and it can eradicate falciparum malaria after a long course of treatment. However, it has no direct effect on the gametophyte of falciparum malaria, so it cannot interrupt the transmission.
