Applications：Suitable for welding of ultra-low carbon duplex stainless steel in petrochemical, nuclear power and shipbuilding industries, such as 00Cr22Ni5Mo3N.
Features：THAF2209 is a rutile type ultra-low carbon Cr22Ni9Mo3N duplex stainless steel electrode. both AC and DC can be used, and can be all-position welding. The electrode has good welding performance. Because of low carbon content and containing Mo and N, the weld metal has strong corrosion resistance, especially stress corrosion resistance.
Welding Positions：PA、PB、PD、PF
Attention：
1. Before welding, the electrode must be baked at 250℃ for 1.5 hours, as needed.
2. The rust, oil, water and other impurities of the weld must be removed before welding.
3. It is recommended to use DC power supply, because the AC welding, shallow penetration, current should not be too large, so as to avoid coating redness, cracking.
4. Reduce heat input as much as possible, the swing of electrode should not be too large.
5. Preheat and interlayer-temperature should remain below 150 ℃.
