Industrial oxygen production equipment VPSA, PSA oxygen production equipment, pressurized adsorption vacuum desorption (VPSA) oxygen production equipment, which uses VPSA specialized molecules to selectively adsorb impurities such as nitrogen, carbon dioxide, and water in the air under atmospheric pressure conditions, and desorbs the molecular sieve under vacuum conditions, thereby circulating to produce high-purity oxygen (90-94%). VPSA has lower energy consumption, and the larger the device, the lower the energy consumption.
Process Description
The VPSA oxygen production system mainly consists of a blower, vacuum pump, switching valve, adsorber, and oxygen balance tank. After removing dust particles through the suction filter, the raw air is pressurized to 0.3-0.5 barg by the Roots blower and enters one of the adsorbers. The adsorber is filled with adsorbent and dehydrating agent, in which water, carbon dioxide, and a small amount of other gas components are adsorbed by the activated alumina loaded at the bottom at the inlet of the adsorber, and then nitrogen is adsorbed by the zeolite molecular sieve loaded at the top of the activated alumina. Oxygen (including argon) is a non adsorbed component that is discharged from the top outlet of the adsorber as product gas to the oxygen balance tank.
When the adsorber adsorbs to a certain extent, the adsorbent in it will reach a saturated state. At this time, a vacuum pump is used to vacuum it through a switching valve (opposite to the adsorption direction), with a vacuum degree of 0.65-0.75barg. The adsorbed water, carbon dioxide, nitrogen, and a small amount of other gas components are extracted and discharged into the atmosphere, and the adsorbent is regenerated.
Each adsorber of VPSA alternately performs the following steps:

The above three basic process steps are automatically controlled by PLC and switching valve system
VPSA type oxygen generator
1. The energy consumption is relatively low. The higher the oxygen production, the lower the energy consumption.
2. Low maintenance cost, the dynamic equipment is a Roots blower and Roots vacuum pump, which are both volumetric and oil-free, making them easy to maintain.
3. The automation level of the entire equipment is high, and the dynamic equipment and oxygen concentrator are controlled synchronously. Just press the start button, and the entire equipment can operate normally.
4. Suitable for medium to large output/capacity.
