1. Characteristics
YC-ZG150 (Q) is a metal-cored wire specially for hardbanding of drill pipes, mixed gas shielded, less spatter and excellent bead appearance. Due to adding niobium element, the surfacing hardness of welding is uniform and stable. It has the following advantages:
(1) Can be repeated welding over the surfacing layer of the same material, re-application without previous layer removal, non-cracks.
(2) Using suitable procedures, it can be applied over other competitive products, non-cracks.
(3) Suitable for single or multipass welding
(4) Lower casing wear rate, exceptional wearablility.
