Narrow Band UVB phototherapy is considered a first-line treatment for many conditions such as psoriasis, vitiligo and eczema, is safe enough for pregnant
women and children to use, and has none of the serious side effects .
UV lights slow abnormal growth of skin cells and can help create repigmentation.
Usage:
1. Before treatment:
the first step, conditional patients with psoriasis before irradiation, please takes a bath for 15 to 20 minutes to remove skin surface scales; The second step, patients need to determine the MED. According to the skin type, in the arms, take the six hole irradiation method measuring the minimum amount of erythema on hip and other parts,, MED dose is the initial dose, through the conversion or look-up table, can get initial irradiation time. The specific method of measurement as shown in the user’s manual. Note: 1.Intensity of KN - 4003 - B/BL is 10 mW/cm 2. MED calculation method for: irradiation time S = dose (J/cm2) * 1000/10 (mW/cm2)
2. Treatment:
Psoriasis: Every week 3 ~ 4 times, 15 ~ 20 times/a period of treatment. If improved after the treatments can increase one period of treatment.
Vitiligo: 2 ~ 3 times a week, need to 30 ~ 50 times even more times treatment.
Pityriasis rosea: UVA/NB - UVB 5 ~ 6 times.
Deputy psoriasis: PUVA, UVA/UVB, NB - UVB, 4 times / week, to Improve histology
