Cyclic Trimethylolpropane Formal Acrylate (CTFA) is a high-performance monofunctional cyclic acrylate monomer featuring a unique cyclic acetal structure. It combines comprehensive advantages including low viscosity, high dilution efficiency, low shrinkage, high flexibility and excellent adhesion. Specially designed for UV/LED curing systems, it is widely used in high-end coatings, inks, adhesives, 3D printing and other fields.
1. Core Performance Features
1) Ultra-low viscosity & high dilution efficiencyWith a viscosity of only 10–25 mPa·s, it significantly reduces system viscosity, improves application flow and reduces the usage of high-viscosity resins.
2) Low shrinkage, low stress & high flexibilityThe cyclic structure greatly reduces curing volume shrinkage, minimizing cracking and warping; the cured film delivers outstanding flexibility and bending resistance, balancing hardness and toughness.
3) Excellent adhesionProvides strong adhesion to substrates such as plastics (ABS/PC/PMMA), metals, glass and ceramics, making it suitable for difficult-to-bond materials.
